New Website Design and implementation of online Booking System for Canine Sense – Dog Behaviour Specialist

WebUpp provided a fully managed website design and hosting service for Canine Sense, a dog behaviour consultancy based in the UK. This project included a Booking and Appointments system, a Directory Listing system called the Dog Friendly Guide, e-guides and multiple complex forms as well as our usual mobile optimisation, local SEO, and ongoing content support.
The Brief:
Canine Sense (Flurina Stocker) is an award winning Dog Trainer and Behaviourist based in Berkshire.
As part of a rebranding exercise, Flurina wanted to graduate from her self-built Wix website to a professionally designed and maintained website from WebUpp, which reflected the new brand and provided a more professional looking experience.
In addition, there was a requirement to implement an online booking system to process orders and book appointments for the various services offered by Canine Sense.
Flurina was also keen to provide a directory listing for dog friendly cafe’s, restaurants and hotels that could be used by her customers.
The Solution:
WebUpp designed a new look and feel based upon the brand guidelines provided by Flurina.
Booking System
We implemented a Booking and Appointments system in two ways. For group events such as Pack Walks and City Paws. And for 1-2-1 sessions in Bracknell, Home Visits and Online Training.
Dog Friendly Guide
We implemented a Directory Listing system in order to create the Dog Friendly Guide which provides a curated list of pubs, restaurants, cafes and hotels. It also provides the capability for Canine Sense customers to make their own venue recommendations.
E-Guides
We provided a mechanism to capture visitors email addressed in exchange for access to free E-Guides.
Blogs
With WebUpp’s Maintain and Update service, we are able to publish new Blogs written by Flurina on a regular basis and and no extra cost.
Email Marketing
We implemented Mailchimp so that Canine Sense can maintain marketing communications with their opted-in customers and we integrated the booking system to update Mailchimp with order data so that emails messages could be tailored to products purchased or spend levels.
Website Forms
We provided not only the typical contact forms for Canine Sense, but more complex forms such as the Dog Training Contract which allows a customer to read and accept Canine Sense Terms and Conditions, electronically sign them, and then have a PDF copy of the signed contract emailed to them. This form also creates an account for the customer on the booking system so that they can immediately make purchases without having to re-enter their information.
